Fire Engineering

Chester's Role

Chester prepared the fire engineering report and drawings for Taharoto Lane, applying C/AS2 to the mixed-use blocks. The work covered firecell and risk group classification, occupant loads, means of escape and travel distances, alarm system requirements, internal fire separations and external fire spread. Where travel distances were excessive, an enhanced Type 5 smoke detection and alarm system was specified.
